Fishing

All dams on our farm have fish in them, Native bream, or silver perch, yellow belly and catfish. We feed the ones at the house morning and evening, which you are invited to help with. If you like shellfish, a spot of yabbying might catch you a feed.

You can keep what you can cook, but otherwise we encourage you to catch and release, so stocks are not too rapidly depleted.

Sean  Moloney caught a 2 kg bream which he kept on ice to take to Victoria and show his grandpa. It was the biggest fish he ever caught, and he was thrilled to bits. He wrote in our book....."I'm the best fish this year!!!!!" and his parents wrote...."the kids didn't want to leave."

We have had people who live on the coast catch more in our dam than they do at home!
